Bergrivier Besproeiing designed, supplied and installed the irrigation system. There were no pumps, filters or pipelines on the farm. We were responsible to design and implement a complete system.

The system includes underground drainage, pumping station / filter station, fertilizer dosing, drip irrigation and automation. Bergrivier Besproeiing’s workshop installed the pumps and filters.

We hired the contractor who does the main lines, drip, etc. installed. A canal, which feeds the Voëlvlei dam, runs through the farm. For the main lines, our workshop built bridges, 18m long, to be able to lay the pipes over this canal.
